In the first episode of our self-titled content series, we give you a behind-the-scenes look into "THE SUMMER PROGRAM" - our novel participatory learning framework centering digital stewardship & data dignity. The current digital divide on the West Side of Chicago presents many challenges, as well as opportunities, for our youth participants - some of whom made history in 2022 as the designers of Chicago's 1st SMS community hotline created by community youth. Follow the beginnings of their new journey, as they investigate the digital divide in Chicago and organize to create a more equitable digital ecosystem for their neighborhoods.
